The junkyard glowers, piled high,
remnants of forgotten splendor
now tangled wreckage, broken glass glinting,
chrome in the crusher, bent with the pressure
I got a machine that can make it like new;
Let me show it off to you...

Scrap metal, pile it on, I'm gonna melt it down;
and it will shimmer as it burns.
That tired old chassis gonna gleam like new,
When I melt that rustbelt down.

Close the doors, tear out the engine,
Ease down the trunk and the hood,
Start at the fender 'til it's ready to render,
That old scrap metal gonna feel so good.
